CANDLE CARE
How to care for your candle
When you buy a Samson & Solomon Candle Co candle you want them to last! so here's some tips from us to ensure their longevity.
Cleaner Burn: All our candles are made with 100 natural soy wax, which burns cleaner than paraffin wax (products found in supermarkets which tends to be cheaper). Soy wax burns cleaner, reducing soot and pollutants in the air. This contributes to better air quality in your home.
Longer Burn Time: Soy wax candles typically have a longer burn time compared to paraffin candles of the same size, making them more cost-effective and sustainable.
Even Melting: Our soy wax has a lower melting point, which means it melts evenly across the surface of the candle, preventing tunneling and maximizing the fragrance throw.
Natural Wicks: Our wicks are made from natural cotton fibres that burn more cleanly which do not release harmful substances like lead or other metals that can be found in some traditional wicks.
Enhanced Fragrance: Soy wax has excellent fragrance-holding qualities, allowing your candles to release a strong and consistent scent throughout the entire burn.
Environmentally Friendly: Soy wax is renewable and biodegradable, making our products a sustainable choice for our eco-conscious consumers, it is vegan friendly with no Parabens, Palm Oil, Paraffins, Silicones, or PEGs).
To ensure you get the most out of your soy wax candles remember to trim the wick down to 5mm before each burn to prevent smoking to ensure a clean, even burn. Also, allow the candle to form a full melt pool (liquefied wax reaching the edges of the container) during each burn to prevent tunneling to maximize the scent throw.
